My husband and I have been trying to get preganant for over 6 years now, I have had L&D surgery, taking clomid for months on end, he has been checked out and we are both 100% healthly so our FS has suggested our next step be IVF.

SO, my husband has a bad back and has started Chiropratic treatment and his doctor was asking if we had kids, etc and my husband told him our story. Well it turns out that our doctor's wife was told that she has 'unexplained infertility' and she was devasted, well guess what! After he started treating his wife she got pregnant and now they have 5 kids!!!! My husband came home so excited and said that I needed to start going. I did, and the doctor took x-rays and it turns out that I have pinched nerves in my spine, and those nerves that are pinched are for my uterus and fallopian tubes!!!

I have started going to see him 3 times a week and have done some research and there are several success stories from chiropractic patients all over the internet.

I have no idea if these treatments will help, all I know is that we both want a family and I am willing to try anything!!

Spend some time like I have and google it, there is so much information out there and its just another option for woman in my shoes who have been trying for so long!

I will keep you posted :)

Marking my place to see if it helps! There is a chiro down the road from me and I always wonder every time I drive past :)

I went to Chiropractor long before we even considered TTC as I have very bad back (always in pain), and I was concerned if I am even able to carry a baby but after a set of sessions my Chiropractor said I was good to go, so we started TTC, that was over 2 years ago, still nothing. may be my problem just is not my back

I have also heard this before. My chiro said that if the nerves around your L2-4 are pinched or compromised then it doesnt allow proper blood flow to the vital reprod organs. I did have the same issue and he fixed it....and we suspect that maybe my fibroids were caused from those nerves being pinched from so long ago. I got in a car accident many many years ago and that is when my back pain started. It was never really bad but I did notice the pain. I ended up going to him one day with my DH and he said lemme see you....it was crazy but for the first time in years I didnt have that pain anymore. I always just thought...it was just a part of life.

Anyway to make a long story short, I do believe that is has something to do with it. I also must say that my ovulation went from cd 16 or 17 to cd 13 or 14 when I started to see him. So hopefully now that my fibroids are finally all gone and with the help of femara and of course my regular visits to my chiro I will get my bfp soon!

Good luck, I Hope it works!

I thought it was crazy at first but after doing loads of research it gives us a glimpse of hope! We can't afford IVF so we are going to try this.

I will keep everyone posted!! DH and I are heading to Las Vegas in May during ovulation so hopefully we 'hit the jackpot' there!! It will have been 2 months since I have started seeing the Chiro.

The title of your thread caught my eye - I see a chiropractor for a back problem and although our issues were male factor, I spoke to him about it and he said that the same nerves that supply your lower back supply your reproductive organs too and if those nerves are trapped, blood supply cant get through properly. I'm not saying it will help with all cases, but I guess if the blood supply isn't getting through properly it can cause problems. In fact according to his business partner, my chiro is responsible for getting a lot of women pregnant! :haha:

Good luck
