Christening gift ideas

Is it for you to give to your child or another baby?

We just had our sons christening so we bought him his white shawl and he had a tea party. He got loads of gifts from family - silver bank with name and christening date engraved on it, teddy bears, some toys, a scrap book with his details in it and space for pictures. He also got a lovely wall cushion that was embroidered with his name and christening date too. All special little gifts tailored to him and his special day xxx

My go-to gift is a wooden Noah's ark play set, I figure it is fun for the baby to play with (when they get a little older, if they're christened when they're still a baby-baby) and keeps the religious theme.

Piggy banks engraved with the baby's name, etc. are always great gifts.

Lately, I have really become a huge fan of personalized baby blocks. I have given some to friends when their babies are first born. They also make them for Christenings. Here's a site where I order them from in the US, but there are lots of other vendors who make them on Etsy. https://www.craftefamily.com/gift-ideas/religious-gifts/personalized-baptism-block
