Christmas angels

Is anybody doing anything special for the lost babes? I decided to get an ornament for Taylor.

Thomas was born 2 days after Christmas so it's a sad time for me as well as a happy time

I always take a card for Thomas and Rachael and stick it to their headstone and often a wreath or Xmassy type plant


to all mummies and daddies who have lost a baby/child

personalized ornament <--------That's what I got except with baby feet instead of teddy bears. I asked OH to pick out a gender ambiguous middle name, and he liked Shannon. He thinks I asked him for a name b/c I'm pregnant again lol.

Just after i had callum my bfs mom brought me lots of bits and bobs and there was a teddy ornament with a string loop on sort of like a xmas tree decoration, and the teddy was dressed in a red toy soldiers outfit with a drum and on the drum is wrote Callum, im not sure if it ws spose2b a xmas decoration but it looks it and will take pride of place on my tree each year!

Mine says Our Beloved Babe in big letters and Taylor Shanon Waters 1-20-08 in smaller letters. My ornament also has baby feet on it.

Hubby and I went looking at ornaments the other day and we found one that hubby absolutly fell in love with. It was a tree and it said basically something about losing a loved one which he thought would be perfect and said the tree could be a symbol of a family tree etc. Its like $16.00 I really liked this plain silver star but he was pretty persistent that this ornament was the one. I was having trouble figuring out what to put on it for writing as its .80 cents a character/letter which in the end adds up. I didnt know what to put on it for a date as I lost our little girl at 14wks so she hadnt been born and I want ppl to know when they look at it that she is our angel not wonder if we have a child wandering around because it looks like a birthdate which kind of sounds silly but I dont want everyone who looks at it to ask questions I just want them to be able to look at it and know. If that makes sense, I seemed to have confused myself.

So in the end im looking at paying $16 for the ornament and then .80cents a character which would be around another $30 plus taxes. Why does everything have to be so darn expensive!! I cant wait to get the ornament!!
