Christmas lights

We took a trip to a localish house last night. The road go all out for Christmas but this one house in particular go mad, people travel from all over to visit. We had a fab time, Lucas especially enjoyed the snow machine and dancing with Santa!

Wow that's amazing! Must take them all year to save up for that electricity bill! Lol.

There's an area near us where all the houses seem to compete with eachother for most decorated house (although none this good!) and whenever we're going past the area we drive through to show the kids. It's magical seeing them so happy over lights!

You don't feel that the houses are competing which is nice. The main house been doing it for quite some time and as more and more people travelling to see more of the houses have joined in making it well worth the trip! Lots of money raised as b&q donated £8000 this year due to a petition set up as they illigally used a pic of the house in their marketing!

My neighbor keeps adding more & more every night. I'm eager to see the end result.

looks awesome! When we went to Nashville last year at Christmas time for our family vacation, they had a house there that was all decked out like that, and the tour guide said that guy who does it had a son who died years back that loved Christmas lights, so he does it in his memory and adds more every year. All the neighbors donate money towards the bill each year in the son's memory, as well as people who stop by to see the lights.
