The Grinch
Home Alone Series

Nightmare before christmas (i watch this alll year round, i never tire of it haha)
and die hard! everyone forgets die hard is a christmas film lol

I absolutely loved the BBC's Box of Delights as a kid, so I was pretty stoked to find that one and introduce my husband to it this year. He is loving the spiffy 80s special effects!
If you can find it, another really charming and obscure one is Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas. If you love Jim Henson's muppets, this one will definitely be a hit. It's easier to find this stuff nowadays with the internet, so you might get lucky.
I also love Meet Me in St. Louis, which is not strictly a xmas movie, but does have lots of xmas scenes in it and is, of course, where Judy Garland made "Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas" famous.
Otherwise, the 60s claymation Rudolph with Burl Ives and A Christmas Story are big favourites in our house.

I really love A Christmas Story and Elf. It's A Wonderful Life is always a must watch at my house when it's on.

I love Elf, Home alone 1&2 (hubby hates the film) and Miracle on 34th Street. Will need to start watching them soon !!

Here is a list of favorites of mine

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
A Christmas Carol (1938)
A Christmas Story (1983)
It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
The Santa Clause (1994)
Home Alone (1990)
Frosty The Snowman (1969)

I was on the phone to my mum saying how I hope they show Home Alone this year because it's my favourite Christmas film and as if by magic, an advert for it came on Channel 5 for next Sunday :D

Home Alone (Just the first one)
Die hard (all of them)
National Lampoon (OH loves it but I don't)
Santa Clause The movie
Bridget Jones
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The Wizard of Oz
Oliver

I have so many I could go on and on - There's never enough time to watch them all!!
