Hi Ladies!

I developed a problem with my sacroiliac joint (in my pelvis) during pregnancy and I had physio on it although it didnt really help much at the time. It continued to be problematic during my mat leave but I adapted (as you do) and only did things I knew wouldn't upset it. It got better (but not fully better) when I went back to work last Sept but just lately it's agonising and I can barely move in the evenings. I'm considering seeing a specialist but wondered if I would be better seeing a chiropractor or an osteopath?

Any ladies out there with the same problem? Want to share or rant about your aches and pains! Please drop in, need to know I'm not alone!

Thanks :flower:

Hello! :hi:

I have awful hips that will partially dislocate when I do normal everyday things like standing up, sitting down, stairs, etc. Literally everything I do. Sciatica as well, and grinding and popping in my hips and SI, as well as severe pelvic instability with insane pain. Im currently undiagnosed and this has been going on for 8.5 years, and I'm only 22! :dohh: end of rant!

Have you seen a sports med doctor yet? They are really knowledgable about joints and such and will catch things that a gp might not normally.
Chiro is also good, maybe try that combined with massage. Heat and or ice as well might give some relief.

Blumming he'll! That's awful! And what's worse is that you are undiagnosed! I can imagine you can barely remember what it's like to be pain free! I barely do and it's only been nearly 2 years for me!

Thanks for the tip of the sports med dr! Did your pains start after a trauma of some sort like a trip/ fall or something? It's just so consuming sometimes isn't it :nope::nope: xx

I go for an MRI end of march and then see my sports med dr right after that so hopefully he can make a plan to fix this!
I cant remember a pain free day at all! But I adapted!
It didn't start due to any trauma, just gradually got worse and worse. I believe it is a wide spread issue throughout my body though as my shoulders and wrists also partially dislocate, and all other joints are more flexible than normal.

I hope a sports med dr can help you! Here it is a bit of a wait to get in, but totally worth it!
