This is probably nothing but just wondering if anyone has any ideas why this might have happened, I took a clear blue digi with conception indicator at 11dpo and got 1 -2 weeks which is correct I think as it was so early, today exactly a week later I took another as it was a two pack and I wanted to see it go from 1-2, to 2-3 lol so did my other half he thinks they are very clever like magic lol, but he was working at 5am so I got up at 4 as I was awakeanyway and took the test, I had only held my wee for about 4 hours and within seconds it flashed up +3 weeks, (last time took a short while to come up) they dont go any higher than that, thats the highest it can go, so can anyone shed any light onto why it could have jumped so quickly, also my cheapy internet tests are so dark now they are darker than the control line sometimes. I am glad it a good strong result but just wondering if anyone could shed some light onto why that might happen.

Thanks

Maybe you are further on than you think!!! I did use one in May and it said 1-2 weeks yet I was only 5 days overdue.Hope that helps!!!! Hope you're keeping well x

thanks Dee, I used OPKs so cant be further along, I got the 1-2 weeks 4 days before AF and today im 18dpo with a 3 week + weird but never mind its good results at least :)

It's based on average hcg levels so it might just be that your levels are at the higher end.

I have never been known for being "normal" OR "AVERAGE" so most likely thats what it is LOL LOL I can never just doing anything straightforward ha ha

Apparently, the levels are:

1-2 weeks = 50-200 hcg
2-3 weeks = 200-2000 hcg and
3+ weeks = over 2000 hcg

(taken from an earlier thread of B&B)

So you could feasibly be at the top end of 2-3 weeks???

However, I've seen other figures on other websites, so it does seem to be a bit of a lucky dip!

I don't think you should be worried if you are getting strong positives. I got 2-3 weeks on a Clearblue test, then 2-3 weeks the next week and the next. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks so it was an early indication that something was wrong in my case. However, some people can get low readings and have a perfectly normal pregnancy. Incidentally, my current pregnancy went up the correct number of weeks on the conception indicator at the right time and I am now 28 weeks pregnant....

thanks i would have been more worried if it had not altered rather than jumped up I think its a good thing :):) and glad things have gone well for you this time xxx

I did the same thing as you and got that result too! Must just have been higher than average cos scan confirmed my dates were right! x
