Hi,

I am on my 4th round of Clomid as i suffer from pcos, and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the non stop emotional roller coaster that I seem to be experiencing.
I have really low moods and seem to cry at the smallest thing! i have good and bad days!
Would be good to hear that I am not alone, because at times I feel on my own none of my friends are going through this so don't understand and my partner tries his best.

:sad2:

I tell a lot of people that Femara is SOOOO much more gentler. I took Clomid for over 1 year and I was a wreck. My poor husband thought I was way too "testy, emotional, b*tchy". Now, I take Femara and the only side effect I have is mild headaches. Just know there are other options out there. Maybe ask your doctor! :)

I am taking clomid 50mg, I ovulate with out but dr wanted to improve egg quality. I am 27 now. I am on my second round this month taking it days 2-6.

I am an emotional wreck and I get upset more easily than normal, I am so tired of it. My husband is starting to ignore me bc I keep pitching fits, and I cant control it. Ugh.. The good news is the fits end when I dont take the pills, so after day 6 I will be alot easier to get along with. Only 2 more days to go.

Hi Katertots

Thanks for the reply.
This forum thing is all new to me, so apologies for rambling!

Sorry to hear your having a bad time of it, I really do sympathize! Myself and my partner have had some mega rows since I have been taking Clomid. Most started by me over the most trivial thing and It is uncontrollable! My partner tends to ignore me too and stay out of my way. Quite relieved that I am not the only one out there experiencing such monstrous moods bc of these tablets. It is a nightmare. I'm 30 yrs old and have been TTC for around 2 years without success due to pcos. I currently take the tablets day 2-6 also, this month my doc increased my dosage to 100mg even though I was ovulating on just 50mg. I hope it all goes well for you and your husband.
It has been really nice to be able to talk with someone who is experiencing what I am going through.

Thanks for the advice, it is greatly appreciated!
I am going back to see my Doctor next month so will mention this to him. :flower:

I am also on clomid and have also been a wreck. I get so moody... one minute i am happy and the next i am crying and so upset. Is anyone esle having extreme bloating and upset stomach? My stomach has never been this swollen... ever!! I posted a thread on it but on one responded... don't know it that means i am the only one? :)

The day after I took my first dose of clomid (i take it at night), i came from work and just couldn't stop myself from picking a huge fight with my partner :dohh: She stayed at her moms last night (oopsie, lol), and will be home tonight. i'm not feeling as crazed so hopefully i will be able to keep calm! i also feel better knowing i'm not the only one :)

I took my last clomid pill this morning.(This is my first cycle this time around, on clomid, and we have been ttc baby #2 since June 2010) I am on 50mg cd5-9 and today is of course cd9. I have been having some pretty bad mood swings. I just want to sit down and cry over silly things. I have had some other side effects as well. Hopefully they will all be worth it in the end though. :) I am hopeful but also really anxious.

It took us almost two years of ttc for our DS and five cycles of clomid. I got pregnant on cycle 5 @ 100mg cd 5-9....I hope it works for me again.

Good Luck ladies. I wish I could give you all big hugs and a shoulder to cry on.

Just a random thought....but could you imagine us all going out on the town together being jacked up on clomid. (I don't think anyone would want to mess with us!) :)
