Clomid and PCOS, amazed?

I have been taking clomid(50) for the last 4 days, and Im starting to see some changes. For the past 5 years or so I have dealt with a "beard". I usually pluck the tick black hairs from my chin 2 times a day! The past four days though, The hairs have been coming in soft and light, except for a few coarse dark ones( but im not complaining!) Is this my cure?? I know you cant take clomid for more than 6 months, but why would the clomid change the hair growth?

Well actually you can take clomid for 12 months. And it may be affecting your hair growth because of the change in your hormones. For some people the clomid actually helps to regulate several different hormones and the hormone that controls your hair growth found be one of them. Good luck!

I actually got worse hair growth when I was on Clomid. Once I came off of it, the growth stopped...

Clomid failed me completely however.

Hopefully since the clomid has been helping with some of my pcos/high DHEAS symptoms, it will help me ovulate too! =] Im very hopeful

Hey misswonka - this may be some random advice, but have you read about the supplement d-chiro inositol? It's great for PCOS according to a couple studies, and what made me think of it was that a "friend" on a PCOS blog wrote that her favorite result from taking the DCI was less facial hair. I'm not one for promoting stuff like this, but I read a lot about it before deciding to take it and it's helped my ovulation and I thought of my friend when reading your post.
