Clomid and short luteal phase

Hi ladies

I hope you can help! I have just finished my first clomid cycle. Previously I didn't ovulate regularly and when I did my lp was 11 days. On clomid I started spotting at 9dpo and on 10dpo af arrived in full force.

Just wondering what everyone else's experiences were? How long was your lp? Can you conceive with a short lp? Also did you have to take anything to extend it?

I was on progesterone with clomid. My lp is normally 10 days. If the clomid doesn't make you ovulate than your lp won't change much at all. Did you have 7dpo labs to confirm ovulation?

Yep had them at 8dpo as wasn't sure when I was going to ovulate. So had it on cd20 after positive opk on cd12. Will get results in the week. I'm assuming I ovulated as I don't normally get af and had sore bbs etc. Wonder if I need progesterone? Guess bloods will tell me. When did u have to take it? Thanks

I bbt chart so i started progesterone after thermal shift.. About 3dpo. (Or suspected O in my case) clomid cycle 1 I had 13day lp. Clomid cycle 2 was 11 day lp. On a cycle break this month then increasing to 100mg. I can't imagine waiting a week for results!! I start calling for mine within 2 days!

Ah thanks.

I only had the test fri so should be back by wednesday I reckon.

Going to ring the fertility clinic and see if they can prescribe progesterone before I get to O if that's all that's stopping me then we need to try.

Thanks! It is indeed! Especially as they really wanted us to go straight to IUI but I wanted to try this as I think the depo injection has caused most of my problems xx
