clomid for 1 blocked tupe??

Hi there all your girlies.

Not posted for a while.

I got my HSG result back and was told that my left tube is fine and my right tube is block half way down so surgery is not possible.

The gynie has put me on clomid which I start in a few days to try and get me to ovulate in the good one, has anyone heard of this before?

Also my husbands count is lower than normal but they are mobile.

What do you think our chances are? We have been trying for 1 year and a half.

im in a similar situation to you. in feb i started clomid and then had the dye test which showed that my left tube is blocked. they didnt know how blocked it was until yesterday. i had a laparoscopy which showed its totally blocked. nothing they can do with it. im staying on clomid and also been referred for iui. i dont know if you know about this or not. you get some drugs at certain times of the month and injections and then when you are ovulating they take your ohs sperm and inject it into your uterus. from reading up on it ive found the success rate is very low - about 26%.

im sorry i cant really offer any advice. im still getting over the news from yesterday. really just wanted you to know your not alone.
