Clomid ladies.. what day do you usually ovulated?

Hi

I'm on my 2nd cycle of Clomid. The first round I was on 50mg (days 2-5) and I didn't ovulate.

This 2nd round I was told to take 100mg.. I had my cd21 blood test and my progesterone levels were 41. The fertility nurse said that this means I definitely ovulated.

My last 2 cycles have been 29 days, the one before that was 32 days and the one before that was 37 days. My overall cycles since I started logging them come back at an average of 30 days.

Today I'm CD31 and AF hasn't shown up. I did a test yesterday and it was BFN.

I don't have a clue what date I ovulated because I don't do ovulation tests so I was just wandering.. for those of you that do track ovulation.. what day do you usually ovulate?

ETA - just noticed you were asking for people that did track ovulation, feel free to disregard this if you like!

I'm basing this on the due dates I ended up with so this won't be entirely accurate - I didn't track ovulation either time. I had a Cd21 blood test on my first clomid cycle which said I had ovulated. Based on my due dates, I ovulated around cd15 with my daughter and slightly later with this pregnancy - but this would only be accurate if all babies grew at the same rate, implanted at the same time, etc, so take this with a pinch of salt. Both were taking Clomid days 2-6. I initially assumed that Clomid would make me ovulate on CD14 but I'm not so sure that's the case. Hope this helps, fingers crossed for you x

I took it 3-7 and ovulated both cycles on CD 16. My BFN cycle I got AF on CD 29. If look at the fact you're on CD 31 now, deduct 14 days for an average LP you probably ovulated somewhere between CD 17 and CD 20.

Thank you so much for both of your replies. AF got me this morning so I'm on to cycle 3.. I'm really tempted to do ovulation tests this month but don't have a clue what to do with them 😣 it would be nice to pin point OV day so that I know accurately how many dpo I am on this cycle

Hi! I took clomid 50mg 5-9 and ovulated around CD20/22 every time. I did 3 cycles of clomid and finally caught on the 3rd! I wish you the best of luck on your next cycle. Lots of baby dust!

Hi Bella Boo, I wish I had seen this earlier in the week. I see your aunt is around now. Three luck charm wishes sent your way. I took 1st round clomid 50mg CD5-9 this month. I'm in CD 18, still no positive OPK. I called my doctor today and he said that I should continue to test as sometimes it doesn't happen until day 21 or so. Wishing for you lots of baby dust this month.

Thanks believer! I take Clomid days 2-6 so I think if you take it on later days then you ovulate later.

I've got my CD9 scan on Tuesday. Not really looking forward to it but at least I will have a good idea of my OV date.

Just updating from this. I had a positive OPK last night so looks like I'm ovulating CD 16-17 This cycle
