clomid question. im confused!

Hi ladies, I have just finished my 1 cycle of 50mg clomid, days 2-6.

I took the first tablet on the 7th sep (cycle day 2) and the last tablet on 11th sep (cycle day 6)

Today, cycle day 8, I'm having quite painful O cramps, and chave check my CM and its stretchy EWCM! Surely its too early to O?!!

Can someone shed some light on this?!! Thankyou xxxxxxx

Thankyou, I hope so, I normally O cycle day 18-23 (slightly irregular cycles) and I'm hoping the clomid would me make produce an egg earlier so it nice and fresh!!! Thanks xxxx

I ovulated a few days earlier than usual on clomid (it's my first month). Could just be that it stimulated a few follicles so there is a lot going on. They have to get to a certain size before they can release an egg and clomid can stimulate the ovaries so that more than one follicle begins to mature. So maybe it's just things working themselves out.

Are you having a scan to track your progress?
