After being almost positive that I was pregnant this cycle, with every symptom under the sun that I've never had before and even a faint pink line on a cheapie, it seems it's not to be.

Of course my mind is wandering... did I actually ovulate? Temps indicate I did, but still... maybe it didn't work after all. I read through other people's experiences on clomid, and they have several scans/bloods/ect to confirm O, whether there is in fact eggs in the follicles and what not. My nurse couldn't even tell me if mine were follicles or cysts. I'm not required to come in for another scan at any point. I'm not sure if this sits well with me? Is there anything else I can request? I'm in the U.K.

My clinic (not UK) doesn't monitor for clomid cycles either. I wish they had! So many things left to wonder about!
I'm guessing you didn't have any blood work done through your cycle? Estrogen level can indicate if there is a mature egg in your follicles.
I didn't get the bloodwork and ultrasounds until I started IUI

I've had nothing else! Should I be booking my own blood work in myself at my doctors surgery do you think? I know about 21day bloods to indicate ovulation, I'm not sure about anything else

I'm in the UK as well and all I had was day 21 bloods done. The fertility clinic gave me a bunch of blood forms and I used to just take myself over to hospital once a month, have blood drawn, then ring the fertility clinic for the results a few days later. The only scan I had was at my first appointment, to confirm PCOS. Seems in the UK they do little, if anything at all, to monitor the Clomid prescriptions. If it helps, I had pretty strong physical indications of ovulation when it worked (compared to a couple of months on 50mg which didn't work) so I would get cramps on the days of O and then really sore nipples afterwards.

I am in Canada, and I was not monitored on my Clomid cycles either. Although I wish I was. It would have meant a lot less second guessing.
