Clomid success ?

I'm starting my second cycle of clomid this month ( CD 3-7) on 50 MG after TTC for 2 years. My doctor claimed i ovulated on 50 MG ( i dont think i did but i guess thats why im not a DR i got a 4.3 progesterone and i seen only 10-20 is ovulating ) im also taking metformin this month to try to help in concieving. does anyone have any successful stories about clomid? how long did it take to achieve pregnancy? did you use IUI or timed conception? any other pointers any one could give me would be greatly appreciated. im just nervous and anxious.

I got a bfp with my son after our first cycle. I took clomid and metformin that cycle. It had been 8.5 years ntnp/ttc so it was a shock something worked.

When ttc #2 I got a bfp our first cycle, but that resulted in a chemical. I did 4 more rounds of clomid with no luck.

Since clomid can thin lining I tried to walk and stand as much as possible. I also used opks since we were doing timed bding.
