Clomid taken twice in one cycle??

Ok, so this will be my 5th cycle of clomid 200 mg CD 5-9. The first two cycles I ovulated (got pregnant 2nd cycle but miscarried) and then my first period after my mc I did a 3rd cycle of the same dose with no response. Same with the 4th cycle. This time my RE wants me to take the 200 mg 5-9 again and he wants to do a follicle scan on CD 10. If the ultrasound shows that there is little or no stimulation he said he will probably have me do another round of clomid 200 mg CD 10-14. I have never heard of this before, have any of you ladies taken clomid twice in one cycle? I have never heard of that before.

Sorry I haven't heard of this before, I just didn't want to read and run. I would be super interested to hear other answers though.

I haven't done it but heard of ppl on here who have and it worked. Good luck!
