Clomid vs. Femara??

Anyone have any useful info bout these two? And I'm wondering why would our FS not even mention "Femara" to us on our treatment plan. He only suggested we start with "Clomid" & "IUI". Considering whats best right now for us. Honestly we don't mind the multiple preg. either that is supposedly triggered by Clomid. Anyone??

U only have a 3% of multiplies on either of those pills.

Femara is a much better nd safer option nd I dnt no y docs dnt give it more often over clomid.
U have less side effects with femara as supposed to clomid ( tho everyone women is different of course)
Femara still does the same thing as clomid as far as producing more nd better follicles nd if u dnt O on ur own it will get u Oing with the right does.
If ur interested in femara it wouldn't hurt to ask ur FS about it. R u in Australia?

I was on clomid for this cycle and no side effects at all.
I did not respond to 50mg, but did to 100mg.
2 follicles detected, 22mm/17mm, both on the left side.
Lining was 7.5mm (ideal is around 8mm) though Ov was about 2 days later so lining would have been 8mm by then easily.
Awaiting AF/BFP.
