It doesn't matter what I do, I can't get Monty to settle into the right position in the Close Baby carrier. I get it all set up as in the instructions, but about five minutes after being in the sling, Monty seems to be hanging halfway down my chest, closer to my hips than to my neck. He's just over a month old and weighs about 9.5 pounds. Anybody got any suggestions, as it's really frustrating me - we bought this sling because it's meant to be soooo easy to use, and so far neither me nor my OH have got to grips with it at all.

i have never had any experience of a close carrier but it looks a little like a moby...am i right????? any hoo is it a wrap style?? if so are you tying it tight enough? sbv when you get bubs in it it will stretch and bubs will end up lower down .... it may seem way too tight at first but it will loosen once bubs gets in ... i think anyhoo:)

i think pink witch has a close carrier, she might be able to help

I have one and I responded in your thread in Baby Club.

Like Saraendepity said, it's all about making sure you pull the fabric through the loops as tight as you can, even if it seems too tight. It's still comfy for baby and when it slackens a little, it's still ok and not feeling insecure.
