Cloth Experts - removing blood stains?

Seems there are lots of experienced cloth bum mums on here so thought I'd post for abit of guidance.

Noah had his first set of immunisations today

After the second injection, his little leg bled quite abit and went all over his nappy (a blue naughty baby).

I have rinsed it and it will go in the machine but wondered what I could and could not do to get the stains out?

Any tips gratefully recieved

Yep Vanish works wonders. I'd also not wash it on too hot a temp for the first wash, as heat sets blood stains.

soak in cold water and a splash of non bio should do the trick too
