CM- sticky vs dry vs creamy

I know the difference between EWCM and watery. But now I'm kind of confused.
I got some stickyish CM today, but it dried up very quicky, and was nothing like the pictures I've google searched. Just a sticky feeling left on my fingers.
Would that be sticky or dry?
Later on I got creamy CM, but it was also sticky and dried pretty quickly. It was whitish in color, which is why I'd call it creamy.
So, what's the difference?
Would you say I got sticky this morning and creamy this evening, or dry and then sticky? Help!

I only get the cloudy/stretchy semi fertile at o time.. I've never actually seen clear cm.
