I am planning to start introducing BLW within the next few weeks but plan to let him eat cereals for breakfast which will be mixed with milk. I know I won't be able to pump enough to use BM (It's taken 4 pumping sessions between feeds today to get 3oz to freeze!) so what else do people plan on using? I was looking at almond milk - I am avoiding Soy - apparently coconut milk also contains similar proteins to cows milk and soy so that's a no too.

I've just gotten some aptimal pepti from gp. lo has tried a few ounces from bottle and seems fine with it. I'm also rubbish at expressing so will be hopefully using it for occasional feeds and also for cereal/cooking

Coconut doesn't contain similar proteins to soy and dairy, it contains only traces of protein at all too. Perhaps whoever told you that got confused as coconut contains similar fats to human milk and other animal milks? But fats are not allergenic. Coconut is occasionally allergenic to people with latex allergy but this is unusual xx
