hello, i was just wondering if anyone could help me, we have started using colief for our DD because she has a poorly gassy tummy so hope this will help! we started using it saturday, we also started using dr browns bottles and infacol on the friday, my question is, while making up the bottle and adding the 4 drops 30 mins before, my DD has fallen back to sleep and i dont really want to wake her as shes hardly slept :( can i leave the made up bottle with 4 colief drops in it for more than the 30 minutes before feeding?? (shes 3 weeks old) any help would be great :D x

Can you give it to LO straight from the dropper? I do that to prevent wasting it and I feel it works better (not sure if it does though, but does for us!) xx

hi, you can do infacol like that but not colief xx

We use colief- pre make the bottles, add two drops of colief, rapid cool and put at back of fridge. Then warm when needed. Xx

Oh wow! I have colief and the box says you could. Must be different kinds out there. Sorry! :flower:

Im sure you would have done it by now but i would say thats fine, my son doesnt always drink his bottle all in one go and as you can leave it for two hours he usually drinks the rest an hour later, you dont want to waste that stuff its expensive, but worth every penny - dont be shocked if your babies poo changes mine did and its normal to be looser.
Can i suggest one thing though? you said she was on infacol too, i did that with mine and i was giving him infacol colief together and it was too much on his little belly, and made him worse, try using just colief or infacol. which ever works better for your baby

I use 2 drops and make up a feed and store it in the fridge for four hours.

Some mums dont like making up in advance but as long as you keep everything clean and sterile, you'll be fine. Louie has had no problems. A made up feed is fine for 12 hours in the fridge. I make 3 in advance at a time. Less colief is used then.
