Alice is over 3 weeks and is visibly uncomfortable or in pain most evenings which we think is colic, it takes a few hours to settle her and during the night she can be like this too.
We're currently giving her cow and gate formula and she takes anything between 1 and 3oz every 2 hours (can't get more in her!)
Would comfort food help with her colic? Which brand is the best? I'm currently giving her infacol before every other feed which I think is helping her wind easier.
Any help/advice is much appreciated, she is clearly distressed :(

If she was haiving the colicky symptoms after each feed throught the day and night, then I would say maybe try comfort milk, but its very common for babies to get "colicky" and unsettled in the evenings. My BF daughter actually had this alot worse than my FF daughter. She would cry and fuss from around 6pm when she was very young and this could last upto 11pm.
Maybe just to start with try switching to a bottle with a good anti-colic action like dr browns or tommee tippee with the anti-colic straw to see if that helps before changing her milk. xxx

Also be aware that aptamil comfort is thicker, Im not sure if other brands will be, so you may need a bigger teat size.
I changed to aptamil comfort and couldnt work out why my LO wasnt taking as much and crying more, so I googled "is aptamil comfort thicker" and sure enough, there were lots of posts on about it being thicker

hope that helps x
