So my bub has always been a reflux bub... On the verge of projectile most days. Today I switched her over to Aptimal comfort milk and she's only puked a tiny bit...

And she went to sleep as soon as I put her in bed... She woke to change nappies and then fell right back asleep...

Is this because of the milk? Can comfort milk make babies lethargic?

Don't get me wrong it's nice and I'm not gonna knock it lol but just wondering

I wouldn't have thought it would make her lethargic but, if you have only just switched her today maybe she has been more awake due to being in discomfort and the new milk today has eased that so is more restful???

Hope it lasts hun x

Hi there
My baby is on comfort milk and he tends to go a little longer between feeds. Especially at night. He can go upto 5hrs. I think it may be because its thicker so takes a bit longer to digest. It makes their poo smell foul though. Its put me off mushy peas thats for sur lol.

My LO was the same when i first switched her to Comfort milk, it was bliss! Shame it only lasted a few days for me though!x

Did you change the tear size when you switched to comfort?

I found that my DD struggled to get comfort formula from the size 1 teat (dr browns bottles) and all the effort required to eat knackered her out, and she was constantly sleepy until I changed to size 2.

I had to change to size 3 teats once DD took over 4 ounces a feed, as the size 2 took forever.

Hope that helps!

I did change teat size but he ended up wearing more than he was drinking so put him back on size 1 (tommee tippee). I think they may be a little too slow so will try him again on next size again soon. The comfort milk has also helped with his colic bless him.

It took a few days for DD to adapt to thr new teat size.

Once she mastered it, she was much more alert and spilled much less.

I bought variflow teats for Emmys bottles and they seem to work perfect :)

Asides the smelly nappies she seems much more content... Still spits up at times but its nowhere near how it used to be
