Comfort milk = very Trumpy baby???!!

Freddie has been on Aptamil comfort for 4 weeks. He was pretty constipated on Aptamil 1, now he poos once a day, sometimes every other day. The doc says its normal for him!

BUT his trumps STINK like man farts and he does them lots! his poos are the greeny formula type poos too...they used to be yellow and still are sometimes.

Anyone got any experiences of comfort milks? should I swap him again??

Ideally id like to see chicken korma colour poos every day!!

I asked about lactose intolerance and was snubbed!!!

i would change back if hes having green poos. they should only ever be yellow. culd u ring ur hv nd ask her 2 c wot she says . soz culdbt be much help tho. x

We have been using the same formula and LO poos every other day and they can be green sometimes, so i would be interested to see what other people say

hey, I just did the online chat with Aptamil to ask them the question. I was chatting to a MW on the helpline. She said green poos are normal with comfort, as are stinky poos! They can stay on comfort for up to age 1. BUT aptamil 1 is the closest thing to breast milk. She was REALLY helpful!!!!! Its the live chat via their website x

i use cow and gate comfort and lo has green smelly poos. But it does say on the box that it can make their poo green x

Green, stinky and wetter poos, and lots of trumping should all be expected with comfort formula. It just means it's working properly. Things do calm down in time - I expect it's a lot less yukky now than it was in the first couple of weeks too!

When they aren't constipated, most FF babies trump a lot regardless of which type or brand of formula they are on. It improves as they get older!
