coming off of steroids for RMC

Hi all,

Am currently in the process of reducing my steroid (prednisolone) dose gradually, with a view to stopping them. I am feeling quite spaced out while doing this though and wondered if anyone had anythign similar?

Also feel like these have been one of the things keeping baby going, so slightly scared about coming off of them anyway, but know it's the right thing to do.... (plus hoping I'll sleep better without them!)

Out of curiousity hun, what does RMC mean?

I was on prednisolone in my last pregnancy. I was taking them for 9 weeks altogether, starting with 8 a day, then each week reducing the dose by one tablet, so that during the final week i was only taking one per day.

I was lucky and suffered no effects after coming off them.

my pregnancy unfortunately ended at 20 weeks, while i was still on my course of tablets, however i have been assured by my consultant that they are safe to take in pregnancy and it was highly unlikely they had anything to do with Freya's death xx
