Confused. Help!

I have been trying to concieve for the last 6 months. Usually AF appears like clockwork. This time round I am 5 days late. Took a first response test on day 1 of being late and day 5. Both BFN! I have had no symptoms other than one slightly tender breast. On the morning of day 4 past AF, I had some watery discharge with a pink streak in it. Then later that night a a blob of brown discharge (tmi sorry!). Both only visible when I wiped. I usually get pretty strong cramps before Af is due but only ever so mild this time, barely noticeable. Should I just accept I haven't succeeded yet again or could I be testing too early? Advice would be much appreciated!! xxx

Do you chart your BBT in order to confirm your ovulation date? Perhaps you ovulated later than usual this cycle, which would make your expected AF date later as well. That is what is happening with me right now. Based on my last few cycles I was predicted to start April 18 or 19, but I ended up ovulating about a week later than usual, due to stress, I believe, so now even though I am on CD37 I am not technically late yet.

I would say wait a couple more days (it's not easy, I know!) and if AF still has not arrived, no harm in testing again.
