Confused on a very faint positive, please help

I'm new to here and was hoping that someone could help me out!
My menstrual cycle is 30 days EVERY month for the last 4 years and I have never been late. I usually get very sore breast, light cramping, tons of bloating and lots of wonderful acne before my menstrual. This month I had none of the above. I was thinking that something was/is very off considering I haven't felt any of my normal pre-menstrual symptoms. Yesterday (which the day I should have gotten my period) I took a first response, and say a VERY VERY faint line and thought that I was simply fooling myself and there was a scratch or something on the plastic. And when my period didn't come down today I decided to take another one (EPT) and there was definitely a VERY VERY faint line. I showed my cousin and mother to be sure I wasn't seeing things and they both saw a light positive. Could it be that it's just a fluke or something? Me and boyfriend just broke up a few days ago and this is terrifying me. Someone please give me advice!!!

mine was faint just keep testing or go to the dr's to get a test

can you post a picture..I had a very faint positive..mine turned into a chemical ..but that doesnt mean yours will..the line should get darker with in a few days

I threw out the test. BUT I am going to take another one, So I will post one then. How do you post them anyhow?

I also had a faint positive that ended up turning into a chemical. Mine was extremely faint, I felt like I was half making it up that it was actually there. I went to dr and got a blood test, my HCG level was 3. That's pretty darn low. Ended up bleeding heavily about 6 days after that. Hope yours doesn't turn out that way. Goodluck

Okay so I took another test at my clinic and it came out negative! So now I am SO confused!! I still haven't gotten that nasty little witch lol! My doctor told me to wait 2 WHOLE WEEKS!!! He says maybe I didn't ovulate this month, but I don't understand if that is an actual possibility considering it has NEVER happened to me before. Is that possible. And please STALK AWAY lol, it's to talk to someone who understands me and has knowledge on what's going on. I mean this is day 33 in my cycle (which is never later than day 30). He was also pretty mean because he said, "Well even if you are pregnant it's probably not going to show because you're going to have an early miscarriage". I felt awful. He won't even do any blood work, he says it's a waste of time. What should I do?????

And please fill me in on how things are on your end. I feel so selfish just talking about me!!!!!!

ADQ- First things first...FIND A NEW DOCTOR!!! Pregnancy is a big deal and stressful as it is. You don't need a doctor like him to add to the stress!

Also, all that can be recommended right now is to test using a pink dye ( more accurate) every other day to check for the strength of the line. And yes, it is possible to not ovulate once in a blue moon even if you are always regular. It happens. The body isn't perfect and it too has malfunctions!

Stay positive, BUT don't get too stressed out. Stress only makes matters worse, especially when TTC/pregnant.

My periods were ALWAYS regular...even after my MC 2 years ago! But just recently they started being WEIRD

Bodies can sometimes just be weirder than our husbands!

So sorry about the BFN at the dr's...I hope the witch doesn't show herself!

Go to a different doctor! Your doctor sounds like a straight up a*****! You know your body better than anyone else and if he casts your concerns aside like that then he is not the doctor for you!!!!

Oh my god thank you all so much... My family is insisting that I change hospitals (they have been for years but this just gave them more amo lol). You all are so wonderful to me, and I don't really know how to react. (Silly I know). That dirty witch has not showed up yet, so ive got my fingers crossed. Oh and i checked my bbt this morning since i haven't taken it in a almost a week... It's usually at around 97.3-97.7 this time of the month. Yesterday morning it was 98.9 and today it was 98.7... Does that have any say in this. Again thank you sooooo much!!! You are all very sweet!

OK you need to find a new doctor because yours sounds like a total douch bag, not very helpfull (which is what they are for) and go from there GL

That's exactly what I was thinking! I almost cried when he said that! I spoke to my aunt about transferring to her hospital (she's always treated so well), and so she is taking me this Monday. As of right now I still have not seen my period, and so I am going to wait until after this weekend to retest with urine. Though the urge to test is so strong. My cousin says I should go to the ER and make up a story, but she's a nut lol! I actually considered it, what a looney I am. hahah!! I'm trying to pull through the day girl. I have been having minor cramps (nothing compared to my usual), tons of constipation and now my stomach hurts after I eat, no nausea though or vomitting, just a sort of pain.

How have you been holding up? How long have you been TTC? Any kids? (simply curious )

Have you used the FRER again? Usually they pick up the pregnancy before even the DRS urine test does... I have my fingers crossed that this is you BFP ...

I think you need a new DR ..I cant believe they wouldnt do a blood test...a urine test can be done anywhere!!! The hospital isnt a bad idea...just say your experiencing really bad stomach cramps.. If they ask if there is a chance you may be pregnant..you can say "maybe" not really sure...and they will test..lol

im good think i have almost got a pos this morning on an OPK YAY. umm well this is our first month TTC and before then it was NTNP, i did fall preg in jan "10 but MC in feb"10 i was so guttered and my body went through a really bad stage i was in an out of hosp docs couldnt see what was wrong with me blah blah (i believe i needed a D+C they didnt) so now mt cycles are no longer 28 days like they were b4 i got preg for the first time they are now around 34 days so i have found it hard to come to terms with that and get used to reading my body etc but im feeling positive andf hopefull for this cycle, i think i will "O" tomorrow (Sunday) My fingers are crossed for you ADQ. where abouts are you ADQ im in new zealand

I haven't used it again I'm terrified it will be another BFN. My doctor said that their test are very sensitive and bc of that he doubts I am pregnant. HE just gave me the 2 week wait. I'm hoping this is my BFP too, *fingers crossed*!!

I have noticed that when I eat my stomach isn't taking to the food very food. I feel sick after I eat, and so im trying to eat more often but in smaller portions. I'm going to take your advice and go to the hospital ER if I don't get my period by Sunday/Monday. Thank you so much for the advice
