Confused-Ovulate, normal FSH but low AMH. Previous Recurrent MC's

Im confused, i need some help!!!

A little background...

Started TTC Nov 2010, 3 early miscarriages (March, June, August 2011)

Me: 27, DH: 26

Referred to Benenden Hospital, Mr Hefni in Dec 2011...
Had vaginal u/s found i had polycystic ovaries So testing began...Bloodwork, urine, follicular tracking (i ovulate) and husband SA (great). Put on Metformin 1500mg/day.

3 months later...
So i went for my followup to get my bloods back and they said my FSH is good 148 (needed to be below 150), my LH is good, my thyroid is good, but my AMH is a bit low. The doctor skimmed past this, all he said was i may be "resistant to treatment" (whatever that means), and "your still young so you have youth on your side".

Its not until i got home that i am now freaking out So what does AMH mean? I ovulate so whats wrong with me? Why cant i seem to carry a baby? Im so stressed! He has prescribed Clomid to start next month, for 3 months. I don't know what to expect.

I was thinking i have been put on clomid as my eggs may not be maturing properly or something? I dont understand. Y do doctors breeze past stuff and make me think everything is ok, then google shatters my hopes

I am sorry for your losses.
I lost 2 babies in 2010 so i know how sad it is xx

Your FSH is at the high end of the scale and usually with a high fsh you have a low AMH... dont know why as it seems bit complicated but i had a higher end fsh similar to yours and a very low AMH of 2.5. I am 30yrs old. What was your AMH?
If its any consulation i am now in the 2ww following transfer of 1 perfect lil embie a few days ago and we got 6 eggs this cycle altho there is a quality issue hence us having 1 embie. Theres always hope. My amh is mega low and im sure yours isnt but wanted to wish u luck and also u have age on your side xxx

He didn't say what my AMH was, he literally skimmed past it. I don't know what to think. I guess i have to calm down and be positive for these 3 months whilst trying the clomid.
