DH and I have narrowed our list for our little boy's name down to two: Connor and Fergus. For the time being anyway!! Fergus is a name we've had on our list for about a year while Connor hasn't been a name we've considered in the eleven years we've been together! We are already set on the two middle names.

I love Fergus for its Scottishness being Scottish myself and quite like the nickname Ferg. My love for Connor has caught me by surprise as I (originally) wanted a name that could be shortened to a nickname but there isn't really one for him. Not a big deal though. I feel as though currently I'm drawn more to Connor. Some how baby boy feels like a Connor but I don't know.

I'm just looking for opinions so what do you think?

Connor Steven Vastrik (Surname)
Or
Fergus Steven Vastrik (Surname)

Such a hard one, I voted Connor, mainly because of a name association I have with Fergus but I think I prefer the sound of Fergus Steven Vastrick, I should have read properly before jumping in and voting

Lol apparently I'm the only one who hates the name Fergus out of the commenters . Sorry just not one I would consider. I like the name Conner.

You're not alone! I voted for Connor.

I prefer Connor, though usually for a first name it would be Conor.

For a nick name Conn is a name on its own right but the English language meaning might be off putting
