Would love some advice please

My 1 year old was unwell over the weekend not keeping anything other than water down :sad1: now he's constipated he's usually frequent and regular

We think he's teething as he is biting on everything from his dads finger to the neckline of my tops

Does anyone have any suggestions for relieving the constipation?

(Have to add that he will only drink water )

:hugs: Maybe diluted orange or prune juice? Sorry no advice because I have a 6 month old, but hopefully your LO feels better soon and someone else can offer more helpful advice! :)

Does he like pears? They are a natural laxative. Maybe some pear juice? He'll probably like the taste much better than prune juice.

Also, oatmeal works with my kids too. Avoid bananas and cheese as these tend to "bind" things up.

P fruits help.... Prunes, pears, peaches, plums. Avoid abc... Apples, bananas, and carrots. Also avoid cheese.

Prunes definitely help. Is he on cows milk? Cows milk can make them extremely constipated so I would watch the amount. :flower:

I have tried everything and yesterday I got a tin of prunes in juice and de-stoned 4 prunes, mashed them up and covered them in yoghurt. He then had a sloppy poo about 2 hours later! Honestly, I've tried all sorts and this works!
