contacting dead relatives

has anyone tried to do this on their own? like, without going to a spiritualist? i have been looking into it, but have has no success really. i've been trying to talk to my gran and grandad at the same time everynight. i just want the smallest sign to see if they can actually contact me! been missing them loads recently gran died when i was 16 and grandad died when i was 11 x

I went to a class to learn how to do something called angel writing or trance writing, I've found it's worked for me. Maybe look it up on youtube? Took me ages to master though!
