a few months back i was a victim of a fraud scam, i had to go without a bank account for a while before getting a new one, i explained this to o2, the lady was very nice and said that she will personally take care of my account, be in touch whenever anything comes up, and she will put a note on the system to stop it going to debt collectors. i last made a payment in August and got up to date with my account, i havent been able to make a payment since under the circumstances and now my phone has been disconnected.
Ive called them and told them i fully understand why its been disconnected, i dont expect them to keep it going and into more debt but the woman told me she would be in contact with me, this woman told me if i pay £135 in the next 7 days thats fine, my phone will be reconnected and fully up to date, great, so i asked if i can make this payment in 2, she said no they dont accept part payments, but ive been told many times they do, they help out their customers and if i am struggling they will help by setting up a payment plan, im more than happy to wait for my phone to be re connected until ive cleared the balance but they wont accept it, told me i have to find £135 by 7 days, if i dont it will be given to a debt collection agency.
to me it seems they dont want to help me, they arent arsed if it goes to recovery, its all my fault anyway.
