Cooking Rice in a slow cooker

Can it be done?

I made a Lamb Curry yesterday which was amazing and I wondered if it could make it like Biriyani (sp) and save further on washing up by not boiling up rice. Has anyone cooked Rice in the Slow Cooker? How long do you do it for? Thanks
