Copper coil 2 days ago and now water infection?

i had the copper iud fitted 2 days ago and since then been lightly bleeding and suffering from some back cramps, well today iv come down with a water infection, burning when going to the bathroom and the constant heavy feeling i know on the slip she gave me said to call if really bad pain but does the same go for a water infection? x

I always get a water infection/cystitis after smears, colposcopy, coil etc.
I usually manage to clear it up using something that dissolves in water from the chemist.
If it doesn't clear up then I'd visit gp.
