I have the copper coil in but will be getting it removed to ttc. As this is a non hormonal one will it mess up my cycles for when I have it taken out?

I won't be removing it until April/May but wondered if cycles could still be tracked to a certain degree anyway when it's in?

Has anyone had this and ttc?? How long did it take once it was removed?

It should not change your cycles. You are good to go as soon as you remove it!

It took me 4 cycles to conceive, but I was 35. My mom had one before she had me, and she said she got pregnant the very first cycle after it was removed.

I had this and got pg 2nd cycle after having it out. Everything was normal while I had it apart from heavier periods.

As long as your cycles were normal before, they will still be normal now. The coil doesn't actually stop you from ovulating (the non-hormonal ones like the copper coil at least), so if you've been ovulating regularly all this time, you will still be now. It just prevents implantation. So as soon as the coil is out, your body can build up a good uterine lining the next cycle and be ready for a baby. In theory, you should be able to chart your temps while it's in, so might be worth giving it a try a cycle or two before if you want to.
