For the past 3 nights DD2 has been violently sick at bedtime but at no other time. I have just sat down with her given her some calpol for teething and after 10 mins she threw up?

I'm wondering if it's calpol? We give it her at no other time of day usually just bedtime if she's teething badly. She's had it be without being sick but it seems a big coincidence these last 3 nights?

What dose are you giving? If you've gone up to 5mls are you syringing it bit by bit? I just know a friend of mine was giving 5ml in one go and that made baby vomit. I give a ml or 2 at a time.

If my little boy has been worked up and I give him calpol (when he's calmed down) it does make him sick. I think it's because after crying your throat can feel thick & phlegmish and calpol just adds to it. If she's not been upset or crying or anything to start with then maybe just don't give it one night, if she's not sick maybe try a different brand of paracetamol? x

Yep, used to happen to our DD1!

ETA: Just looked back as you thought your LO had reflux at one point too. DD1 did and she threw up the calpol too. i dont know if there is any relevance

we just give the 2.5mls and give it a tiny bit at a time, wait for her to swallow, then another tiny bit etc...

Interesting about the reflux? She is still on half a sachet of baby gaviscon in her bottles for it, although it was never really bad, it was at least 1 bottle per day she would bring back. We haven't given her any calpol for 2 nights now and no bedtime vomit. Seems like it was the calpol. We use the sugar free strawberry one and Ive read others who have been sick with it but not other flavours or the normal sugar version.

My little sister used to vomit with calpol, and still does at the age of 6!
