Hi im fairly new to bottle feeding, as up until recently my LO has been exclusively breastfed, but i decided to try combination feeding for conveniance. I have always made feeds up just before feeding him. I dont want to sound stupid but Any way we are going out for the day tomorrow so i was going to take bottles, but what do i do? Do i make bottles in the morning and take them, or do i take bottles of boiled water and add the formula just before i feed him? And also how would i go about warming the bottles? or could he have them at room temperature? Thanks x

I used to make the bottles of boiled water up and then just add the powder when required. my lo always had them at room temp but if you need to warm them most restuarants/cafes should assist in some way. Some changing facilities even have bottle warmers

hope that helps

When I go out I use the ready made cartons for convenience. I have a tt travel flask thing that I use to warm them x

I'd invest in a flask lots of places will not give you hot water or they'll make you stand at the counter and warm your bottle.

I always make my bottles for the day the night before. Cool them quickly and put them in the fridge. Warm as I go. But you could use the cartons. - We cant as lo is on SMA LF.
