Council tax benefit question

I get £15 a week towards my council tax. I get my housing benefit paid straight into my bank but I've never had any of my council tax benfit paid in. Does that mean that it goes straight to the council? Before I'd got any HB paid to me I paid £110 for my 1st months council tax but I got it back from HB. I'm worried now because I just assumed that if they hadn't sent me any threatening letters then it must be getting paid?

They pay it directly to themselves hun. If they werent getting any payments im sure they would have written to you. You could give them a ring just to make sure but im pretty certain they just pay it straight to themselves

I know i do too, with everything to be honest..... i always think that if theres a problem ill soon get a letter shouting at me about it!!
