Hi there,

Just wondering how long you wind your LO before giving up if they haven't burped?? My little girl sometimes takes ages and still doesn't burp.

Also, my LO has quite restless sleep sometimes, she will have her 4 oz bottle (3 hourly), then take up to 40 mins to settle. She sleeps roughly up to the next feed, but is constantly fidgeting and making noises as if shes waking up. Anyone have any ideas to help her have more restful sleep??

thanks

Usually I burped Kenneth by sitting him on my lap and holding his chest while patting his back and he usually burps pretty fast, but other times (esp at night) he won't burp, so I'll put him on my shoulder and try & burp him.. then if that doesn't work I walk around with him and kind of like bounce him lol, up & down and then he'll usually burp. It's so frustrating sometimes though when it takes them a really long time to burp. If your LO doesn't burp after a few minutes of burping, I would sit her in a carseat or a swing so that she's sat up because if she lays down without burping it can cause stomach ache.. but if you sit her up it won't cause her as much discomfort and then when she wakes up she'll be able to burp a lot easier! :flower:

Have you tried winding her on your lap and then holding her neck and turning her body in a circular motion, that one always works for us with callum if patting/rubbing his back doesn't xx
