Yeah it took the edge off Fins too...
its the arching of the back mainly, thats a huge sign that somethings rising back out of the tummy... is he ever sick?

hi hun, omg he has all that all the time, plus i thought he might have a bit of cold but that seems to be a symptom to, the arching of the back he does a lot while screaming and stretching his legs full out, infact there that stretched he goes ridged. he is sick but not a lot. he wont go down on his own for longer than 5 min, only sleeps an hour at a time. and hes 7 weeks old but still only having around 2 ounce a feed.

its not easy to get it diagnosed but i suggest going back to your docs and being tough, if you really believe thats what it is - which it does sound like to me then you really have to push it!

I ended up asking for a referral to a paediatrician but before we went to the appointment Fin took a turn for the worse and stopped breathing so we got diagnosed at A&E thats not to scare you, Apnea is not common really we were just unlucky

thanks hun i've made an appointment for 2.10pm this afternoon with doc's, fingers crossed they'll listen to me, thanks again for your advice x x

hi first thankyou very much. i have been to doc's told them his symptoms, she wasnt sure so she rang local hospital and spoke to a pediatrition it was a short 5 min appointment and we was with her an hour. the pediatrition said yes reflux they've given me domperidone and omeprozole, i've to take him back in a week and if no better to be refered to see the pediatrition at hospital. hope it works and thankyou as i just thought it was colic x x x
