Cow and Gate Comfort formula and green poo? (TMI)

Hi everyone,

A few days ago I changed my LO over to C&G Comfort because she has reflux and the gaviscon we were putting in her bottles was making her very constipated.

Last night she had 2 green poo's. Not really runny, but the colour has made me a bit concerned.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just because of the change in formula or should I take her to get checked out?

Not had experience of this myself but read lots of other mums who have had the same issue. Think it's usually down to the iron content of different formulas. Worth checking with your HV if you're concerned or if lo doesnt seem himself xx

It could just be that LO's tummy needs to get used to the change in formula, or it could be that it has a higher iron content than your previous formula. Fran was on SMA from birth and always had dark green poo because it had a high iron content. Give it a few days and if you're still concerned speak to your doctor or hv love xx

Totally normal. My LO has just switched to this formula and her poo's are green and runny. I think it even says on the side of the box that this can happen. Don't panic its fine x​
