Cramping 14 weeks: UPDATE

Everything I read tells me that we're supposed to be crampy and miserable at this point because of stretching and our uteruses leaving out pelvic girdles... Only I don't remember this being so severe during my first pregnancy! Is it different because I'm dealing with the first pregnancy after a C-Section? (C-Section was nearly 20 months ago). I did have a round with BV when I was 8-10 weeks along and there was intense cramping then... I'm wondering if I'm now relapsing. Doctor said to head to the ER due to lack of ultrasound tech on call today (starting to seriously hate this office). So... I'm thinking that's my best bet and am looking for insight.

UPDATE: ER diagnosed me with having a low lying placenta. They couldn't rule out placenta previa as they couldn't get a good look at my cervix. Baby is very active, measuring a solid week ahead, and has a heartrate of 151 which is, as the lady said, perfect.

I know I'm having a C-Section regardless, but I can't stand the now constant worry and the cramping. On pelvic rest, supposed to stay off my feet, no lifting. That's great and all, but I have a soon to be 2 year old. :growlmad:
