hi girls,
i am 7 weeks pregnant today, had an emergancy scan on thursday due to a tiny spot of bleeding (just brown) on wednseday night. internal scan showed a tiny heartbeat, all looked well and they couldnt see any reason for the blood. been cramping all through, but tonight its really painfull, had some paracetamol and a bath earlier but its still there. im trying to tell myself its just stretching but im really worried. i lost my little girl in july, and then had an early miscarraige a couple of months ago.
just wondered if cramps can be painful, and all be okay xxxx

Oh my goodness!! you have been thru it!! i can tell you from experience that you can get cramps... sometimes worse than period type cramps.. when i was pregnant the first time (5 years ago with my twins) i had some pretty bad cramps... i thought that i was getting my period for sure... now this time im not getting cramps as much... hardly at all really.. i dont know if its because im stretched already... i dont know... but i hope everything works out for you!! keep us all update!!!

I cramped every single day of my 1st trimester. Some days they where so painful i thought i was gonna come on and i had a lot more than a spot of blood. Water normally helps for me. Someone told me this is my 1st trimester and it really helped me. She said to consider cramps a good thing as its our body streaching.

I was very crampy up until 16-17wks ovary pain too xx its all normal x

When I was pregnant with my daugther I had bleeding at around 7-8 weeks and cramping which was caused by a urine infection. Have they tested you for an uti or thrush because both can cause bleeding and cramping?

Thinking of you.

xx

I had period like cramps with this pregnancy and with Devin as well, lasted quite a while into the 1st tri. Sending lots of :hugs: your way hon.

I had pains during first trimester last time that were really worrying but it was fine. It will always be scary though. I hope you are feeling better now.
