cravings and aversions

hey,

I am fascinated with how my tastes/aversions have developed over the past few weeks - so thought it owuld be interesting to share :) ( apologies if this has been done before!)

I have been suffering from queasiness and major nausea for a few weeks, but haven't actually been sick - but I'm also finding that i NEED to eat regulary to help stave off the nausea - but if i eat too much i feel really sick!

Have developed some major food aversions - particularly to things that i used to eat regularily:
FISH - BLEUGH!!!!!!!!! the thought of any kind of fish makes me feel sick. It's odd, because i used to be literally addicted to tuna and would eat it in salads ar sandwiches every day!
CRISPS: again, these were another addiction - particularly cheese and onion flavour - now i can't stand the thought of them!
CURRY: Used to be weekend take away treat - now it's YUK, YUK, YUK!
DIET COKE - used to drink cans of it a day - not anymore!

Basically, I am off most of my normal foods in general - and am craving really basic flavours and "Comfort foods". the main ones being:

CHEESE! CHEESE! CHEESE!
Cauliflower cheese - YUM
MAcaroni cheese - Yum
Dairylea Cheese spread - yum
Cheese and TOMATO sandwiches - yum yum
TOMATOES
ORANGE JUICE
PASTA
BREAD
CARBS, CARBS, CARBS
FRESH FRUIT - grapes, apples, fruit salad ....
Fruit flavoured ICE LOLLIES
CORNFLAKES and ICE COLD MILK

What about you???
 
Im am so with you on the FISH - It makes me feel so sick, just the thought of it. I have been suffering major nausea for weeks and have been sick a few times.

Other aversions I have are Ribs - I used to looooove hubby's BBQ ribs - now the thought of eating off the bone is just YUK.
Chicken - Hubby was making a risotto the other night and the smell of the chicken just starting to cook was enough to make me actually be sick...so thats off the menu.
Most veg I cant stand - I used to love sweet potatoes, sweetcorn, carrots swede - all just horrible now.

I am craving:
salad cream with pretty much anything (but especially warm pitta breads!!)
Beans on toast - YUM!
Chocolate Frijj milkshakes!!
CHEESE - any kind, cheesestrings, dairylea etc
 
I have only had 3 queasy days, so I have been more than lucky, had my 12 week scan today and glad to baby in there as I felt so well. I have a thing for cooked breakfast a few times, cheese and onion crisps, fruit, cheese, chocolate. Don't mind fish - but meat cooking of any sort makes me feel yukky too! Lets hope we go back to normal soon xx
 
i cannot stand any meat at the moment, the look of it,smell of it cooking-yuck! also gone off white bread,crisps,apples,chocolate and really cant stand chicken! only things i have wanted are cheese,pizza and orange juice. have just sent oh out for a wimpy which i all of a sudden had to have but i bet it makes me ill later. will taste nice for the few minutes im eating it though:winkwink:
 
I have completely gone off: Indian and Chinese takeaways, pizza, pasta (yuck yuck yuck), vegetables (all types), most meat.

I have been eating more: Mash potato with lots of butter, salt and vinager crisps, doughnuts, jam, chocolate, bacon and egg sandwiches, grapes, apple juice.

I'm okay with food during the day at the moment (my MS has reduced so much in the past week), but I still struggle to eat dinner - nothing sounds good at all.
 
i cannot stand chicken now either :(
 
I notice you are all craving cheese.....me too lol,
on crispy jacket potatoes with lots of butter
on teacakes
and loaded onto pesto pasta yummy
I'm also really enjoying anything carby
potato wedges with salad cream
roast dinner all the mashings but minus the meat!!
Mr kipling bramley apple pies (about 6 a day :blush: )
tangy things like orange/lemon juice

I am totally off
anything tomatoish as it almost kills me with heartburn

fruit
 
Gone off:
Bacon
sausages
chicken
pizza
chip shop stuff
crisps most flavours
biscuits
toast
Pie's
burgers
coke

Love:
Crumpets
ham sandwiches
fish fingers
ice cream
sweets
cakes
cheese (only mild chedder)
scrambled egg

so basically living on crap! Although have lost 11lb
lemonade
 
I cant stand:
Meat ( any type)
Fish
Hamburgers
pickles ( use to be my favorite snack)
Milk
Chips
Most pastas

LOVE:
cereal, cereal and more cereal!
Cheese
Cucumbers and tomatoes drenched in Italian dressing with a little extra salt.
Mash potatoes
Chinese
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Carmel covered candy apples
Cheese Pizza
eggs
The list can go on and on.. lol

Funny how a lot of people have been craving cheese! I wonder if it means something?
 
Craving: caramel apple cider (starbucks)
ham/cheese sandwiches

Adversions: Everything else:dohh:
