cream cheese frosting!

anybody have any good recipes for it? also any tips? whenever i seem to make it it just goes runny...

When I make frosting for my carrot cakes this is what I always do;

• 100g Mascapone Cheese
• 200g full fat cream cheese
• 85g Sifted Icing sugar
• 1 Lemon

Granted it is a mascapone and cream cheese frosting but doesnt taste cheesy at all if thats what you are aiming for :thumbup: Because it makes quite a bit I use a full lemon to squeeze it in. You could also use other food essense aswell to give it a different flavour and also do it in different colours.

ETA: also if you are doing this receipe I would advise you to put it in the fridge for a bit as it does become a bit thicker :D
 
I wish I could bake pretty cakes.. I might start a new hobby.. But then I'd have to eat them all and get fat.. So maybe not such a good idea :haha:
