Cross Stitching..

Anyone else do it?

I've just started again. Done 5 Christmas Card designs which I didn't mess up! I use to do it whilst in college and messed up half way through the design but proud of the ones I've done . Don't want to give them out haha.

I'm currently doing Breast Cancer Pins. Going to make a mass of them and then sell them and give the money to charity.

So just wondering anyone else cross stitch?

Cross stitching has been a hobby I use to chill out for years. Not had much chance to do it since LO was born though!

I've got a stack of beautiful art deco pieces which I need to get framed. I've made a few small ones for cards and key rings in the past but I prefer doing larger and more complex ones which I can keep for myself!

Ahh lush share some pics ladies.

I started the other week and only done this piece which took 2 days on and off. I've started collecting the magazine 'Cross stitcher' want to see which main piece is in next months and either start that or the other. It's a series of girl and a bunny, cant think what its called.

But heres my first ever cross stitch, not perfect, need to trim it and back into onto cupboard and frame it

Yep I do! Iv done quite a few. I love bright and colourful designs,my favourite was a mr men one x

I did a bambi cross stitch when i was pregnant with Sophie and added her name, date of birth and weight after she was born. I was going to do one this time but i just haven't found the time as Sophie still doesn't sleep through so i don't stop up that late after she's in bed. x

Yeah me I haven't done any for a while. Got some bits in the craft box for getting into once I finish my exams.

I love cross stitch, i've recently took it up again - started it before LO was due and still working on it

Its a massive one called "some bunny to love" which i wanted to finish off and frame it in the girls nursery

Ive been doing it for about 10 years. I have LOADS of unfinished projects though. I did a lot of bear ones for DD. And a few humphries corners.

Karlie, there are a lot of kits available on ebay etc, if you start off with something small like a bookmark or something that kind of size you would soon get right into it xx

I have just finished a Winnie the Pooh height chart



That's the unfinished version.

It has the heights along the right side as well bees & butterflies at the top

I've always got a few things on the go at once. At the moment i am doing a little Peter Rabbit picture for my newest niece and a Ludo board to match a snakes and ladders board i completed a while back.
