My partner and I have been TTC for almost 2 years. That doesn't sound that long, but I'm only 24. As there is only one fertility doctor where I live, the wait to see him has been long, but I have an appt March 12th. My current doctor has sent me for a number of tests including an HGS (so painful) and more ultrasounds then I can count. He believes my problem is PCOS. I've been reading a lot about it on the internet and it has just made me feel worse. I came across this site and figured, what the heck, maybe I can talk to people in my position to get some first hand info and not feel so bad. Doesn't hurt to try right?!

What kind of treatments did the fertility doctors put others with PCOS on and did they work? I'm crossing my fingers that this is the year it happens for us!

Thanks for the support everyone! :flower:

Hi There Jenny .. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. Although, I suspected it already over the years since my period is never regular.

My Doc put me on metformin and I'm currently on femara/letrozole :) I fell pregnant once but ended in m/c due to low progesterone.

Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Goodluck and babydust!

Other options are clomid and injectables. They can also put you on progesterone suppositories if you have low progesterone.

Thanks for the info!! I'm very excited to see the doctor to find out what he is going to do for me!
