SO......
been waiting over 5 months for csa money, finally it comes to march! when im due to recieve the money, to find out there now is no money, as FOB decided to walk out of his job litterally just before i was due to recieve it, what a coincidence?!!

thing thats even more annoying is it was a apprentaship so he trained for a year didnt have to basically anything as he wa on low wages then as soon as it wen up he pocketed the money and left.

i feel so deflated, whats the point in going through csa if it takes his long?!! my ex will job hop for the rest of his life so if they take 5 months everytime im not gunna get a penny.

i hate money. sorry for the rant but i severely needed to vent.

lesson learned from this....? never rely on FOB for anything, do it yourlsef and see anything else as a added bonus.

I love the honesty in the thread title! Men suck... FOB's suck. Does he have contact with your LO at all? If so I would point out that he can't expect to me a 'super dad' in that he turns up when he wants, goes to birthdays etc but doesn't actually contribute to the 'mundane' day to day essentials.
FOB's do not get that it is not you they are hurting but their own children. I have a similar situation. FOB tells me he has saved money for LO but nothing... thats all it ever is... talk. No phone calls etc saying "Hey laura... here is some money...." etc... oh no... and I am out of line to ask for it as well [which I have in writing!!] and his stable amazing superly high flying job is... occasional filming work odd days once in a blue moon with a mate of his... and to top it off he is shit at his "work."
By contrast I worked [up until I went on leave] 10 hour day shifts etc on a continuous basis over 3 different jobs and although it was hard work now I do not have to ask him for money, I don't have to worry about him thinking he has all the power and at the end of the day I get to proudly say I have done it all myself.

In the short run it is hard work but think of in the long run. Your LO's FOB is doing nothing more than shoot himself in the foot and unless he is extremely good at dancing [which mean are not!] it means he'll end up with no feet, a lot of blood and a very unsympathetic child in the long run.

Yeah he see's LO every other sunday, not much but tbh any more then that and i'd be worried his nasty trates would rub off, i dont want LO turning out anything like him, hes a very odd character...

He's living with his gf's parents so i guess its rent free as he's just walked out of his job!

i know it sounds like im just being a door mat maybe just leaviing it, but after nearly 2 years of this ive got to the point where if i ask him- nothing will happen... if i shout at him- nothing will happen... if i just get on with it- nothing will happen BUT at least there wont be as much negative energy for LO.

Its just incredibaly frustrating tho!!!!!!!!

hate the thought that him and his friends and family have some warped perception of what hes actually like/who he is.
No he isnt super dad, hes a fucking idiot.

great idea, why not actually give him the money instead of getting someone to draw on your neck? it's all for show. drives me mad!!!
