Does the fathers name have to be on the birth certificate before you make a claim for CSA?
 
I dont go through CSA but I think they would need some sort of proof hun
 
No they don't need to be on the cert, my FOB isn't yet i'm still going through the CSA, they will how ever ask him if he knows about the baby and if he knows its his. If he says yes it is his then they will go ahead with the claim, if he deneys it then they will issue a DNA test. If the test is positive they will make FOB pay for it and then pursue him for maintenance payments, if it is negative then they will pay for the test themselves but obviously you wont get any money off him, lol.

So basically, no, he does not need to be on the birth cert. x
 
Wow thats great at least there is a way you can get maintanence if you dont have him on the cert!!
